6G Math & Science Monday - In Math we are going to review rounding and then interpret our Math MAP data to set goals. If we have time we will continue working on the Data Science Unit. In Science we will be working on the environmental Minecraft Education Edition build challenge that fits perfectly into our Ocean Guardian School project. Wednesday - Today we will continue working on the Data Science lessons in Math and on the Sustainable Development Minecraft Education Edition challenge in Science. Today this class will go down to the creek to set fish traps. Thursday - Same as Monday & Wednesday.  Today this class will go to the creek to get the fish traps. If we catch any fish we will identify and count them.

6B 5/6 Math & Science Tuesday - In Math teams will be working on the next couple of Data Science lessons. In Science teams will be working on the Sustainable Development Minecraft Education Edition challenge, it's an environmental challenge that fits perfectly into our Ocean Guardian School project. Then Mrs. Kaster will join us at 1:30 pm for her next bully prevention lesson. Friday - Today we will continue working on the Data Science lessons in Math and on the Sustainable Development Minecraft Education Edition challenge in Science.

6G Math & Science Monday - Today students will take the Healthy Youth Survey. I will also give students time to check on their missing work so they know what they need to catch up on. In Math teams will work on the Data Science lessons. In Science we will be working on the Sustainable Development project. 12:30 pm is our garden time. Thursday - Students do NOT come to school today so that teachers can have conferences with all the families in their classes.

6B 5/6 Math & Science Tuesday - Students will get some time today to see what they are missing so they can catch up on any work that isn't done yet. In Math teams will be working on the Data Science lessons. In Science teams will be working on their Sustainable Development Minecraft Education Edition challenge. If the weather does not improve, we will skip fish trapping today. Then Mrs. Kaster will join us at 1:30 pm for her next bully prevention lesson. Wednesday - Today we will continue working on the Data Science lessons in Math and on the Sustainable Development Minecraft Education Edition challenge in Science. If the weather was not safe yesterday and we did not go fish trapping then we will not go to the creek today. Friday - Students do NOT come to school today so that teachers can have conferences with all the families in their classes.

6G Math & Science Monday - In Math teams will present their Dear Data projects today then we will move into new teams where students will get some time to work on Prodigy. In Science we will be working on an environmental Minecraft Education Edition build challenge that fits perfectly into our Ocean Guardian School project. 12:30 pm is our garden time. Wednesday - Today we will continue working on the Data Science lessons in Math and on the Sustainable Development Minecraft Education Edition challenge in Science. Today this class will go to the creek to get the fish traps. If we catch any fish we will identify and count them. Thursday - I have a sub today. Students will work on any Classcraft assignments they need to complete for Math. Teams will continue working on getting their eportfolios ready, finishing the Big Sneeze assignment on Tyto Online, and getting some work done on the Sustainable Development Minecraft challenge.

6B 5/6 Math & Science Tuesday - In Math teams will be working on the next couple of Data Science lessons. In Science teams will be working on their Sustainable Development Minecraft Education Edition challenge, it's an environmental challenge that fits perfectly into our Ocean Guardian School project. Today this class will go down to the creek to set fish traps so that the other class can check the traps tomorrow (this class is going today because I have a sub on Thursday). Then Mrs. Kaster will join us at 1:30 pm for her next bully prevention lesson. Friday - Today we will continue working on the Data Science lessons in Math and on the Sustainable Development Minecraft Education Edition challenge in Science. 12:30 pm is our garden time.

Smarter Balanced Assessments (SBA) will be happening this week along with the Science Assessment for 6th graders only!

6G Math & Science Monday - Today we will take the Washington Comprehensive Assessment of Science (WCAS). In Math teams are still working on their Dear Data project. In Science we have started working on the Diseases Health Unit. Thursday - Today is our second early release day going from 8:45 am to 12:15 pm. Students will go home with a sack lunch.  In class students will complete the Dear Data project in Math while we continue to work on the Diseases Health Unit in Science.

6B 5/6 Math & Science Tuesday - Today we will take the Reading Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA). Today this class gets a turn going down to the creek to set fish traps! Then Mrs. Kaster visits again this time at 10:15 am for her next bully prevention lesson! In Math teams are still working on their Dear Data project. In Science we have started working on the Diseases Health Unit. Wednesday - Today we will be on an early release schedule going from 8:45 am to 12:15 pm. Students will go home with a sack lunch.  Today we will take the Math SBA. Then we will go back to the creek to get the fish traps! If we catch any fish we will identify and count them. In class students will complete the Dear Data project in Math while we continue to work on the Diseases Health Unit in Science. Friday - Today we will continue working our Data Science unit in Math and our Disease Health unit in Science.

6G Math & Science Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday - This week students will continue working on the Data Science unit in Math. In Science students are still working on getting their electronic portfolios ready. This week they should be ready to start the disease unit. Wednesday - Today we will go down to the creek so that students can set two fish traps. Today is also picture day - we will be taking pictures at 10 am. Thursday - Today we will go back to the creek to retrieve the fish traps. We will identify and count the fish to keep track of how many fish go through our section of the creek.

6B 5/6 Math & Science Tuesday and Friday - This week students will continue working on the Data Science unit in Math. In Science students are still working on getting their electronic portfolios ready. This week they should be ready to start the disease unit. Tuesday Mrs. Kaster will visit again at 1:30 pm for her next bully prevention lesson!
