Quarter 4, Week 10, 6-14 to 6-18

Last Week of School! Students will turn in their school-issued laptops on Thursday, June 17.

Daily Schedule

Homeroom - 8:45am to 9:00am

Period 1 - 9:00am to 10:20am 
Recess - 10:20am to 10:40am

Period 2 - 10:43am to 12:03pm
Period 3 - 12:06pm to 12:15pm

Lunch/Recess - 12:15pm to 12:55pm

Period 3 - 12:58pm to 2:20pm

Cohorts 1 (Per 3) and 2 (Per 1) Monday & Tuesday - Teams will get to finish as many of the available robotics challenges as they can.  Wednesday - Today is the 6th grade Field Day Event! Thursday - Students will have some time to finish their last robotics challenge, then we will clean up the kits and collect laptops and chargers! Friday - Last day of school and we will be on an Early Release Schedule! Today we will have some fun activities before we bid farewell to our 6th graders and send them off for summer and junior high. Kids will be dismissed at 12:15 pm.

Cohort C (Per 2) Monday & Tuesday - Those who are not done with their second vinegar and baking soda lab will finish so they can begin the insulation lab. Wednesday - Today is the 6th grade Field Day Event! Thursday - Last chance to finish the insulation lab! Those who finish the insulation lab can begin the backyard biodiversity science activity.  Friday - Last day of school and we will be on an Early Release Schedule! Today we will have some fun activities before we bid farewell to our 6th graders and send them off for summer and junior high. Cohorts 1 (Per 3) and 2 (Per 1) Monday to Friday - This week students will continue working on a robotics unit with Lego Mindstorms EV3 robots!

Cohort C (Per 2) This Week's Science Work - This week students will design a different vinegar and baking soda lab to collect more data! Then we will do an insulation lab. Students will need a way to heat up water to use with their digital thermometers. Ideally, students also need access to at least one cup or glass depending on how they decide to conduct their experiments. :)
